JLee Creations was established in 2006 by Jantina Froese. At first, JLee Creations was a way for Jantina to be creative in her spare time while raising a family. After a few years of working in her Studio, Jantina decided to start selling her works of art which eventually brought her to First & Last Chance Christmas Craft Shows.

 

In 2012, Jantina bought First & Last Chance; two distinctive Christmas Craft Shows featuring an array of works of over 80 artists, artisans, makers, and designers from our beautiful West Coast and it's surrounding islands. Since 1989, these shows are two of Vancouver Island's premier Christmas shopping events which have become favourite craft sales to many in Sidney, Saanich, greater Victoria, the gulf islands and further afar. It is an annual tradition where visitors can meet the many creators in person, hear their stories, feel their passion and experience their works first-hand.

After producing First & Last Chance Christmas Craft Shows for eleven years, Jantina has decided to embrace the moment and create Art-a-fair. Celebrating Christmas with a fair in Nanaimo at Beban Park will help to support artists & artisans and consumers who have lost the lovely Kris Kringle Craft Market. It is Jantina's hope that while it won't be Kris Kringle, Art-a-fair will provide a wonderful weekend of dynamic artists, artisans an consumers together for a fine craft fair.
